Track of the year 2023

January 4th, 2024 – Hello, Re-Volters!

Track of the year 2023 is finally here, and it follows a slightly different format with respect to the previous editions.

This time, the nominated tracks (one per author) were chosen by YOU! The tracks the community interacted with the most have a chance to win this year’s award. A total of 22 authors published tracks this year – congratulations, everyone!

Here’s a more detailed ruleset regarding how each author’s nominated track was chosen:

1. Only Standard and Sprint tracks were considered, both Lego and not.
2. If an author submitted more than one track with the same theme (e.g. Windmills Hills, Downtown) or a track pack, the award is given “collectively” to the whole theme/pack.
3. The nomination criterion is the sum of the number of ratings and that of comments at the time of collecting the dataset (January 4th, 2024). The actual rating score isn’t taken into consideration.
4. In case of a tie as per point 3., the newest track by release date is picked.

Nominations

Voting will be live until January 12th, 2024 at 20 UTC. Every user can vote for up to 7 tracks.
