Birthday Contest 2022 – Announcement

January 30th, 2022 – Howdy, Re-Volter!

Exactly one year ago we started to work on Re-Volt World. The domain revoltworld.net was registered on January 20th, 2021. The first post in our Discord channel was made on January 22nd, 2021. During February 2021 we worked on all the basic functionalities behind Re-Volt World and several people helped to refine stuff and fill the site with content. On March 11th, 2021 the site went live for the public, finally. We think it’s time to celebrate the 1st birthday of Re-Volt World: We want to invite all Re-Volt/RVGL content creators to the Re-Volt World Birthday Contest 2022!

What is this?

Content creators can attend the contest by submitting a creation according to the contest themes.

After the deadline, there will be a public voting to determine the winners of the 3 categories.

In addition, you can gain Kudos by attending the Birthday Contest 2022!

  • Attending: You get 25 for attending each category.
  • Podium: Getting on a categories podium will give you 50 .
  • Winning: Winning a category are worth 100 !
Theme and Categories

This time there are three different categories for the contest to join. All themes are related to Re-Volt World:

  • Category “Track”: Create a track which take place in a specific country.
  • Category “Car”: Create a car which visuals are based on a countries national flag.
  • Category “Skin”: Create a skin main-sponsored by “Re-Volt World”.
Rules

General rules:

  • Deadline for submission is February 26th 2022, 20:00 UTC.
  • Every creator can submit a maximum of ONE track, ONE car, and ONE skin. You don’t have to do all three, but you can if you like.
  • Collaborations are allowed.
  • Used resources (if any) must be stated in an attached readme.
  • The creation must be unreleased. Please don’t upload your entries to Re-Volt World or any other websites before the voting is over.
  • You must not keep your entry secret till the deadline. But you can, if you wish.

Category “Track”:

  • The track must be country themed.
  • The range of what is allowed is very wide. Be creative!
  • You don’t have to do a track of your own country. But you for sure can, if you like. :)
  • The track can either be a Standard Track, Sprint Track, Battle Tag Arena, Stunt Arena, or a Lego-Track. Also Frontends are allowed.

Category “Car”:

  • The cars visual must be country-flag themed.
  • You don’t have to do a car of your own country. But you can, for sure.
  • The model of the car can be an original, but also remodels of existing cars are allowed.
  • The texture of the car can be an original, but can also be based on already existing paint jobs.
  • The parameters of the car can be original, but also can be based on an already existing car.

Category “Skin”:

  • The skins main sponsor must be “Re-Volt World”.
  • The texture can be an original, but can also be based on already existing paint jobs.
