Oh look! That's how I got my username from! *Insert cricket noises and cringe face* Yeah yeah, whatevs.

Anyway, meet Crimson Fury, this gorgeous red sleek sports car made it's debut in the very first Twisted Metal game for the PS1 in 1995 and returned in Small Brawl (although it was considered for deletion the bloody bastards), Head-On and making it's last debut in the 2012 PS3 version.

Based on a Lamborghini Diablo VT (It is NOT a Countach so get that idea out of your head), Crimson Fury is known to combine great speed and elegance. Before Twister took the crown as the fastest, Crimson Fury is regarded as the fastest car in the Twisted Metal series, which allows it to escape hairy situations. It's handling is quite good too, sharp and steady at the driver's fingertips. This may seem fancy but it is far from perfect. It has AWFUL armour because c'mon, it's not meant to be strong, it doesn't have any ramming capabilities, it will fall prey to Darkside's ramming for example, and the car is quite tricky to use because of it's special weapon. It's special weapon is called Crimson Blade, which is a small red beam laser that does good damage. But when I said it's tricky, it's because you need to be precise and have good aim with it's special weapon.

Despite being weak and tricky to use, Crimson Fury is a blast to use, it always stands out to the crowd as being a cool car. In RV, it's not "easy" to use, you need to stay sharp as the car will try to catch you off guard. The best way is light steering and always keep it's momentum. It may seem unstable at low speeds, but don't let this bring you down. Overcome it and it's a good car to use.

NOTE: USING THE BATTERY PICKUP WILL WORSEN THE CAR'S HANDLING. USE THE POWERUP AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Crimson Fury is one of my favourite cars in the Twisted Metal series, I love the name of it and it always ends up looking beautiful. In other Twisted Metal games, it became a bit easier to use, but it's armour hasn't been changed much. Enjoy!

SingleTrac for the model and sound.

LivingWithGames for paramizing the car and fixing the missing vertices of it which was an oversight by me.

Scurest for the 3D Screenshot implementation for Duckstation.
