When the world is in freefall, so is the mind.

Lost in reverie from reality, detached from the surrounding world.

Falling, fading... into the stellar seas of fear and uncertainty.

Fragile souls, brittle like glass... are the first to shatter.

This mindscape is a representation of a journey shared by many...

...when their life once turned on their head.

  1. Wow, very nice ambience (both looks and sounds)! At one point, I thought I had left YouTube playing in the background, because I sometimes listen to this kind of music :)
Both ends of the track are wonderfully realised, especially the spinning phantasm at the end.

    Kudoz,

  2. Incredible and crazy !
The atmosphere is fantastic, the music is more than perfect, the racing line gets crazier and crazier…
It’s a shame that if you miss the first jump, you don’t have enough momentum for the second.
But what a run it is!

  3. Can’t describe how happy I am to finally see a full release of Phantasiabyssal Turbulence.

I’m going to start off by saying that back when Saffron sent an early version of the track, which was named “Extrastellar Phantasm”, I was already hooked by the idea of a track set in space—twisted turns and all the unknowns of the universe. Since it was an early version, there was a lack of atmosphere and not many details besides the track itself. However, even in that state, Extrastellar Phantasm was a very pleasant and truly outstanding track.

When it comes to Phantasiabyssal Turbulence, once again, I’m so happy to see the track in full release. I had already visualized the concept of the track being lost in space—broken—and seeing all the asteroids floating around, presumably causing the track to be destroyed in the first place. I’m really happy to see Saffron putting exactly that image into the track, extending it, and giving it more of a theme. Also, the atmosphere in the background feels soothing yet timid. There is a great balance throughout the entire track, from the way objects fit together to the accompanying atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re on a journey.

I’m very satisfied with the track overall, and I’m really happy that most key elements, if not all of them, found their way into the final release. A very well-executed track.
