Jan. 27, 2026 UPDATE
Thumbnail has been fixed for like the 4th time already! I hope this one actually looks good enough. Plus there's new additional preview images included too!
====================================================
This is my first reparam in RVW history. It may have a couple little changes (like it's much smaller and the badly-mapped text that has now been covered with a white stripe to make it look cleaner).
THIS IS NOT MY MODEL.
Requires RVGL to work properly.
Credits go to MightyCucumber for the original conversion.
Trioch (not in here) for the model.
burner94 for fixing up stuff (I couldn't resist to credit him!)
Skarma for (only) the collision hull from his Saleen S7R.
And the Sounds Resource for the engine sound (from Need for Speed II SE).
====================================================
Top Speed (Average): 50 MPH
Class/Engine: Glow (V16 engine)
Rating/Class: Super Pro (5)
Transmission: RWD
Acceleration: (rough estimate)
Extremely fast.
Weight/Mass: (rough estimate)
Mildly back-heavy. Even if it has a V16.
====================================================
Notes about this car:
A restoration of MightyCucumber's obscure classic "F1 GPX Turbolence".
This car is based on the Hot Wheels (not Matchbox, jeez Trioch) casting with the same name.
Its scale and parameters have been heavily altered.
Downsized to match the scale of my other HWRV cars. (So 1-percent larger than all the base game's cars).
The parameters have been changed to being a "conventional" Super Pro car where it goes super fast on straights, yet it has a ton of understeering. Despite it being a FR car (front-engine, rear-wheel-drive), it is very stable and controls well on flat surfaces.
Oh, and don't forget the 1,200hp N/A 8.0L Tombstone V16 engine!
While it's a front-engined car with an extremely-heavy engine, it's quite back-heavy. There are some tungsten weights that help make the car stabilize itself (but at the same time, makes it worse) so it can do a (slight) "wheelie" (even though the front tires never lift up any, depending on the terrain).
Its high inertia values are intentional to make it feel more realistic like a real car. That's the main point of most of the HWRV cars, except for some of the unlicensed castings.
A big thing to know is that it isn't the best at landing jumps, but as long as you let go of the steering when in mid-air, you'll get most-of-the-time clean, stable landings.
BUT, what's even worse is if you hit a wall or collide to something, it will be extremely unforgiving! But you better hope you can catch up since it has near-instant acceleration and a top speed of around 50 MPH when going straight.

You cannot redistribute nor modify THIS reparam without my permission, but you can modify it ONLY for personal uses.
BUT, check the original car this is based on for permissions of the original mesh and textures.

Tracks shown in all previews are NFS III - Hometown by Xtreme and F1 RC GP II Home Straight by Manmountain.
