  1. Gel38 released a lot of AM-Bio cars, but I only have a few of them. I didn’t want to get any more, as when I got them, they seemed terrible to me. Really, this car was uncontrollable, I thought.
I was mistaken, however. The interesting thing is that these cars were apparently based on real cars, or concepts for real cars. Strangely though, I wasn’t able to find anything about AM-Bio. I found a photographer with the same name, and I found Gel’s cars, on Google. That’s it. Anyway, the car does look fairly realistic, and it was nicely modelled. The texture is very simple, except for the racing paintjob, that was made by thatmotorfreak. The working taillights are a nice addition.
What makes this car pretty unusual though, is that Gel tried to make the handling realistic, but not for RC cars, but for a real full-size car. So acceleration, speed, turning et cetera, were all made to scale for this small car, so that it feels like driving a full size car. And I’ve got to say it seems pretty convincing. And while when I was younger, I thought it was uncontrollable, that is not true. This car works pretty well as a challenge car, as it is certainly usable, and can even get some decent positions, depending on the track, how many opponents you have, and whether you’ve enabled pick-ups or not.
Check it out, and if you enjoy driving it, try some of Gel’s other cars too.
