Part of a revival project for the Christmas Championship 2010 cars: http://revoltzone.net/cars/8046/Christmas%20Championship%202010
With what is probably the weirdest design in the entire roster (yet still not as weird as the original design), Speed Gnome is an all-rounder that might make a solid choice for beginners.

The Speed Gnome is a car that is part of the Christmas Championship 2010 project’s revival and I took it for a spin. First things first, the model isn’t good, being a weird shape and disproportionate, with small wheels and a bulky front end. The texture isn’t good either, with many odd design choices that don’t go well together, such as the headlights, the grille, the rear end, the rims and the rather lazy paint job. At least the polish is decent. Parameters-wise, the Speed Gnome doesn’t fully match its description. It is fast and it has a good acceleration, but the way it drives isn’t very beginner-friendly. Despite having a sliding handling and a snappy steering, which is fun to cope with, the car is light and unstable, as it can be launched around very easily by pick ups and it is difficult to regain control after a bad landing or under heavy braking. It feels almost unpredictable. With these factors combined, it makes for an awkward ride, where even the smallest bump, drop or incline or harmless pick ups are guaranteed to make the car go crazy.
Overall, the Speed Gnome isn’t a great car. I don’t really like its aesthetics and it drives poorly. I hope the stability in particular gets an update.
