Shocking suprise hmm? Well, say hello to the 2004 Ford Mustang GT-R Concept, which is also my first PSP release after ripping it from the PSP version from Test Drive Unlimited!
In 2004 or 2005 (I'm definitely sure they showcased this car in 2004), Ford introduced this radical Mustang called the GT-R in the New York autoshow, which was a signal for Ford to enter the racing market but also, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ford's pony flagship car, the Mustang. Under the bonnet is a 5 Litre Cammer V8 engine, with an output of 440 BHP. The car comes with only one colour called Valencia Orange, which was a nod to the classic 1970 Ford Mustang 302 Trans Am Race Car.
The most striking feature of the Mustang GT-R is it's aggrevise styling, meaning that this car is one mean looking machine. Not only that, it is equipped with Brembo disc brakes, a rollcage at the back of the car and Pirelli tyres, slick enough to give the car smooth handling. Everything of it has no practicality, in other words, it is meant for pure racing, all thanks to the help of SVT and Saleen.
Unfortunately, the car never reached production, but it did gather attention and legacy for it's striking appearance and mechanical features. The car has appeared in a couple of games such as Project Gotham Racing 3, Ford Racing 3, GRID and so on. Here, you can experience this car yourself, and let me tell you, I absolutely love this car so much. I love everything about this car. Enjoy!
