Greetings! Another BR5 conversion, what a surprise! This time it's the first boss battle vehicle in the game, R18 (based on the Audi R18... i'm as shocked as you are). This is quite the interesting one... a Le Mans prototype in rookie? absolutely awesome. In the original game, this car (and pretty much most of the boss vehicles) handled horribly and since I like to keep things original to how they were when converting, that was the original plan for this car. However this would be pretty much recreating something like my Grocery Getter which not everyone is fan of so that was canned. I wanted to see what someone else could do with this, so I asked yun to see what they can cook up with the parameters. Now we present a pretty solid rookie with great speed, acceleration & snappy turning. But this is also slippery so not ideal for racing on ice and such. That said, enjoy & thanks for reading :)

    Big thanks to:

  1. Thanks for the comments, both of you. While it may be a crime to put a LMP in rookie, anyone who has played Burnin’ Rubber 5 knows this is a terrible car to drive, hence it’s in rookie. That’s just my outlook when doing conversions, I don’t tend to stray away from the original look & feel of the car but this doesn’t mean both of your comments are not valid. Cheers & I look forward to your next conversions as well, Xtreme ;) your first Burnin’ Rubber conversions inspired me to start doing my own

  2. I remember I also wanted to convert this car to RVGL, but then I gave it up. I agree with Sinaosal about the Rookie class. If I were you, I would make a Super pro or Pro class car.
In general, I like everything, I look forward to your next conversions :)

  3. This is a nice conversion.
Starting up with the model of the car: 5/5. I do really like how this looks: looks like a race/sport type car.
The texture was converted nicely, so I will have to put it also a 5/5.
The parameters are not that great. How could you put a sports car inside the rookie class? When I first saw the carbox I though it would be at least in the pro class. But I do like how yun did the parameters: It turns well and has great Acceleration.
My overall fun should be around 3/5 only because of the speed.
