"Now THIS is pine racing!"

My entry into the 2024 Secret Santa event, polished up for public release just in time for the announcement of 2025's Secret Santa event. Better late than never, right?

Rocketree uses F-ZERO GX-inspired "slide" steering, meaning that turning left or right causes the ship to also slide sideways in the same direction. This means that you will have to start turning a little sooner than normal while driving this vehicle. Due to the vehicle's freakishly high acceleration and grip, it can rip around tight corners at lightning-fast speeds. However, it struggles with hairpin turns, and it's very easy for it to get stuck on walls.

Additionally, its abnormally tall ride height may allow it to straight-up pass right over other cars if they're short enough, but you should only expect to ever take advantage of this coming out of turns; due to Rocketree's subpar top speed of 38 MPH, it's equally as likely that your opponents will be the ones driving underneath you to pull ahead!
