Superfast
Skin Sunday, 22nd June 2025 |
The Superfast is a skin for the Khan sponsored by a brand of the same name and I don't mind it. The design isn't bad, which is composed of two horizontal parts, a stripe and a decent variety of other sponsors and stickers. The colours are great and I kind of like their particular tone, being not too vibrant, but not too dull either. However, the polish has some flaws, like the missing badge on the front grille, the missing signal lights and the different shading on the spare wheel, which doesn't match the wheels at all, as well as having a not so homogeneous texture. Overall, the Superfast is a good skin. It is actually a quite nice one, even if it doesn't have the best polish. Good job.

Pachka
Skin Saturday, 21st June 2025 |
The Pachka is a skin for the Khan sponsored by a logistics company of the same name and, honestly, I am not a fan of it. The design isn't good, as it has some strange fading circular patches and it feels empty in some spots, but the wheels and the fog lights are a nice touch. The colours aren't well chosen, most notably with that hint of purple at the back, which clashes a bit with the black and the yellow. The only saving grace is the polish, which is decent, although there is a missing badge on the front grille, some missing signal lights and, weirdly, there aren't any headlights. Overall, I don't like the Pachka. It looks unfinished and not very unique. I really hope an update will fix these issues.

Khan
Pro Car Thursday, 19th June 2025 |
The Khan is built to dominate any terrain in style and I couldn't resist trying it. To start off, the model is extremely well done, being able to capture the essence of both the R6 Turbo, the car which was sourced from, and a Paris Dakar-styled off-roader, and I love the inclusion of a spare wheel on the back, even if it hasn't a homogeneous texture. Speaking of textures, I really like the colours, the decals and the details, which fit all perfectly, although the polish has some small oversights, like the missing badge on the front grille and the missing signal lights. Parameters-wise, the Khan is phenomenal. It isn't the fastest in its class, but the good acceleration and the incredible maneuverability make it a blast to drive. It takes corners like a dream, it slides with precision and, most importantly, it tackles any terrain with ease, thanks to its 4WD transmission and excellent stability. Sadly, one flaw is that it spins out uncontrollably once it drives through the oil slick pick up on two wheels, but that is a minor inconvenience and I still adore its driving style. Overall, the Khan is a fantastic car. It has great visuals and parameters and good polish and it became one of my favourite cars. Great job.

Red Snake
Skin Sunday, 13th April 2025 |
The Red Snake is a skin for the Zipper made for the Re-Volt Repaint Contest Second Month contest hosted in The Re-Volt Hideout forum. That contest's theme were race cars and I genially love how this skin looks. The design is fantastic, as are the other details, like sponsors, number plates, air intakes, wind fascia, windshields and rims, and the colours are perfect. Both of these factors really make the Zipper a true race car, even though it isn't. Despite the great polish, some things must be noted, such as the missing signal lights on the back of the car, one of the license plates being missing, a weirdly coloured windshield and the low quality of the texture file. Overall, the Red Snake is an almost perfect skin. If it weren't for the polish and the quality of texture file, I would have given it five stars. Great job.

Poizon (Green)
Skin Sunday, 6th April 2025 |
The Poizon (Green) is a skin for the Zipper that was inspired by two cars from Need For Speed Most Wanted. As such, the design is influenced by flashy paint jobs and, frankly, I really like how it turned out. The long, thin, sharp stripes and details like sponsors, air intakes, wind fascia, windshields and rims make the design badass, but sleek at the same time. The colours are good and the polish is remarkable, except for the missing fog lights on the back of the car and one of the windshields being a slightly different colour. Overall, the Poizon (Green) is a great skin. Between the black and the green variants, I prefer the black one, but that doesn't mean this skin isn't good. Still, good job.

Poizon (Black)
Skin Wednesday, 5th March 2025 |
The Poizon (Black) is a skin for the Zipper that was inspired by two cars from Need For Speed Most Wanted. As such, the design is influenced by flashy paint jobs and, frankly, I really like how it turned out. The long, thin, sharp stripes and details like sponsors, air intakes, wind fascia, windshields and rims make the design badass, but sleek at the same time. The colours are spot on and create a great contrast and the polish is remarkable, except for the missing fog lights on the back of the car and one of the windshields being a slightly different colour. Overall, the Poizon (Black) is a fantastic skin. I have nothing more to say. Well done.

Street Cleaner
Skin Monday, 3rd March 2025 |
The Street Cleaner is a skin for the Zipper and I can't believe how sophisticated it is, since Zipper's mapping is quite messy. That being said, the design is cool, for the most part, because I don't like how the rear was made. Those exhaust pipes and those taillights don't fit well with the rest of the design. As for the colours, there are three variants, which are all really good. My favourite has to be the dark indigo and red one, because it just looks awesome. The polish, on the other hand, is decent, as some details could have used the same scheme and orientation and there is one missing license plate. Overall, the Street Cleaner is a great skin. Great design, great colours, but the polish could have been a tiny bit better. Great job.

Blackfang
Pro Car Wednesday, 1st January 2025 |
Blackfang's premise is to conquer the Re-Volt's scene and it is the main reason why I tried it. First of all, the model, which is based on an Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, is well made. Compared to said base car, it is a faithful recreation, expect for the long wheelbase, the inconsistent bumpers and the lack of mirrors. The texture, similarly to the model, is also quite faithful and it is alright. The choice of colours recalls Germany's flag colours, which I like, and I love the wolf on the sides and the other set of decals, but the headlights aren't the right ones, the fuel cap on the car's right side is missing, the stripes aren't well placed and the texture itself is a bit empty. There is also a grey, light grey and red additional skin available, thought it isn't very inviting for me. Performance-wise, the Blackfang is very good in its class. It is fast, agile and pretty resilient. However, the acceleration isn't the best and the handling isn't straight-forward. It requires a good knowledge on the car's grip and its driving style consists on the play between the gas and the brakes, since the car can suddenly oversteers on lower speeds and on any surfaces. Once mastered this technique, the car is enjoyable and satisfying to toss around the tracks of any kind. Overall, the Blackfang is a great car. Some more care could have been put on the model, the texture and the polish, but the parameters makes up of it. Good job.

Exodus
Super Pro Car Monday, 28th October 2024 |
I don't know why, but the Exodus caught my eye in an unexpected way. For starters, I quite like the model. It has a great front end and middle part, but it has a weird hump in the back that ruins the lines of the body. Moreover, the rear wing is pretty big and the wheels have different sizes, which make the car look a bit disproportionated. The texture is something that I am not a big fan of. The colour choice is decent, but I don't like all those stripes and the lack of decals. Though, I really like the motifs, the decent polish and especially the inclusion of a black and green alternative skin, which is more appealing than the white and green one. Parameters-wise, this is where the Exodus really shines. It is pretty fast for its class and the handling is unique to say the least. It has good grip and stability, but it requires careful driving, as it might oversteer on slippery surfaces like grass and ice and understeer around tight corners. So, it is a kind of handling in which the car can be pushed to its limits with consequences for pushing it a little too much. Despite this compliment on the driving style, the car has a slow acceleration and its light-weight nature can be problematic at times, but, at the end of the day, they don't compromise a lot its performance. Overall, the Exodus is an alright car. It may not be the best looking, but it is sure a pleasant car to drive. Neverless, good job.
