This car has been sitting on my drive for 3-4 years... yes, I have lots of WIPs on hold, sheesh.
This car is a remodel of Caddy Car from Ridge Racer 64. It is very slow, but has a high top speed for a Rookie.
Remodel? I thought this as a repaint. But sicne it has new mapping for it I suppose it is a remodel – I might compare later. But about the car, how does the Bogey feel as a rookie?
Well it has the same sluggish acceleration as the Caddy Car, but since it is a Rookie…yeah the speed is not as…interesting. But it is heavy and somewhat strong as a defensive car. Though this thing is an absolute chonker. Small wheels, but golf carts are meant to have small wheels, and heck, the name makes sense. Almost deserving of an alt skin (which I almost was tempted to make during the skin part of the contest, months ago.)
Is it perfect? No, but I dig it. It is simple, but nothing wrong with simple really.
