Update v1.1: Lowered CoM slightly, a little less likely to flipover, better AI performance especially with catch-up on.

Part of the SD02 line that succeeded the original Starfire GT.

Durable, dependable, and capable, Boulder Dash is the quintessential compact pickup truck. The 4x4 V6 model went to win "Truck of the Year" in a comparison test. This RC model faithfully represents that top-of-the line trim and uses the SD02M metal-hybrid chassis for added weight and realism and grippy all-terrain tires that are comfortable on any surface.

Boulder Dash may not be the fastest, but it features predictable handling and good bump/jump performance that can give it an edge offroad over chibis with firmer suspension.

    ...

    Tips:

    • Boulder Dash has mediocre top speed, acceleration, and handling.
    • The off-road suspension, larger tires, and higher ride height can make the car topple over easily, but it also allows for good grip and stability over rougher surfaces.

    ...

    Misc:

    • Boulder Dash is based off of the 5th Generation Toyota Hilux.
    • "Boulder Dash" is wordplay on "baulderdash."
    • Each of the four skins has a different 80s/90s-inspired decal.

    ...
