Another day, another new car. But what's this? I've already released the Picard Piranha, what is this abomination? Ah, yes. Vigilante 8 Arcade is a game that was released on the Xbox 360 (which flopped hard) and, for some reason, the car one of the vigilantes got, Chassey Blue specifically, got a Piranha...and you can get classic versions of some cars in that game. So this is the Classic Piranha.
What is most intriguing is that, this is not the same as the one in Interstate '76. The details are completely different. In my head canon, this is the car Jade got if they didn't get themselves snuffed out. It bears even the same plate as her on the rear. So, as such and not as memorable, this is Advanced as opposed to Semi-Pro.
Crimson mostly ported this from MM2, Chaasey Blue (the modder obviously) had this car reverse engineered obtained by someone else directly from V8 Arcade. This is the only V8 Arcade car I was interested in. Enjoy.
Tarun, while your message is appreciative, it doesn’t matter. It’s just a troll that is abusing the rating system because it’s “funny” to do so. I also agree with LivingWithGames, I don’t care about ratings either, but it is annoying yet sad when someone gives you a low rating for your creation, no matter what it is.
For any car/track modder that is reading this, please next time make a disclaimer that if people are against of whatever it is, high poly or not, THINK TWICE before downloading. Excuses and stupid comments will be ignored. I’m also going to do this for my future releases aswell.
Anyway, on to the car, it’s a blast to use and quite fun aswell. You did the parameters very well Living!
Since the votes are basically anonymized, nothing much users can do, since it’s to avoid witch hunting. At this point I don’t care for ratings anymore, but it is a sad pathetic sight when someone does it, as a trolling tool. Though this is a first that it’s a port/reverse-engineer of a car in a game that came from less than 2 decades ago, while having classic yet low poly models. It is a shame V8 Arcade is unfinished and at best, mediocre. The parameters I am the sole person that’s been making them to help out make these cars handle as they should as well help out my friends Crimson Fury and recently, Chassey Blue.
Awesome port, parameters are fun to drive too. Great to see ports from these consoles.
A message to whoever is rating 1* to these add-ons, it takes a lot of efforts to rip these models from consoles and then convert them to usable format and then port to RV in a presentable manner. Whoever has rated these new creation 1* at least have some balls and post a comment on what you did not like or you just probably know nothing of the process and is just some fucktard here just to troll…
