I know i should have uploaded this a long time ago, but a lot of people know me for being lazy.
This was my entry for the 2022 Birthday Contest for the car category, focused on nations.
Maybe most of you already know what car this is, but for those who don't, this is based on a Ford Falcon, more especifically a racing modified version.
Btw this version has a different set of parameters and a new hull, compared to the version available in the Birthday Contest pack.
Considering this has a fresh set of params and hull, a review is required for this one after some running with it and I can say this, the car not only looks good, it is surprisingly fun. To be more in-depth for it, let’s go in details.
Ford Falcon-stocklike (other than the wheels sorta), that alone is already a nice thing, been a fan of these cars, the rear sometimes reminds me of the Ford Lotus Cortina. That said, as for how it handles, it’s 4WD, but it’s an underdog. It understeers like a pig, knowing it’s a muscle car, and if you let go of the throttle while turning, you can enter into powerslides, handy if you wanna slide on some corners at speed. That’s fun. What isn’t so fun, or may be, it…underperforms. of course, tracks like Urban Sprint 1, the AI nodes are so expertly put, that car cannot win. other tracks like Port Limano 2/EX, it can fight.
So if you like underdogs, underperforming cars, Teena may be it for you. But considering maybe this car predicted the win for the World Cup, it feels dirty to be done like this. Maybe add slightly better turning radius for it, or more EngineRatio for the wheels, just a bit to improve it’s acceleration. Overall, I like it.
