first debuted in Halloween Carnival 2020, Backlash is a car with the primary concept of creating a car that looks like it drives backwards. the appearance is not as simple as a car with rotated body. the visuals meant to give an illusion of a proper forward-driving RC vehicle, but with the physical body shell being installed backwards. the reversed body is akin to "Backwards Bob", "Wrongway Rick" and "Reverse Racer" of real life Monster Trucks.
the body design of Backlash is based on Hot Wheels car "Bedlam", while its aesthetics primarily influenced by Burnout 2: Point of Impact "Airport Terminal" tracks, alongside with the halloween skin being inspired by Hot Wheels Stunt Track Challenge decal system.
handling and hull are the exact same as a previously released car in Re-Volt World, that being "The Knight" by Trixed, which is used as the base car as part of Halloween Carnival 2020 rules.
