- Alexander Kroeller and Steven Ellis, who wrote the tools which convert 3DSMax output into Re-Volt levels.
- Andrea Barbagallo, who translated to Italian and gave advice on Italian / Venetian matters. (Unfortunately, only a little of his work can be seen in the track, because I have run out of texture space.)
- My wife Agnes, who helped me in the design of some textures.
- Everyone at RacersPoint, for the cheerings and encouragement - and for just being there.
Take a tour to the lovely city of Venice (in Italy, not California ;)). The streets are narrow, and in many places nothing prevents you from falling into the filthy water.

Zipper – Calling this track a “staple” of anything, is, in all honesty, just kind of a bad joke on your part. Sure, the visuals are great, but I do believe that you are sorely mistaken in your opinion about the flow. The track is way too intense, and it is way up there with the other, worst track in the game, Museum 1. If you didn’t like wallbanging in Museum 1, you will absolutely despise Venice and have it appear in your worst nightmares, since here, you also need to deal with water hazards. What’s there to like?
Venice is a tricky track for me because there is so many sharp turn and i need to be quick to turn around the corner
I think this track is perfect in every mode. Online, offline, time trial. The flow is good, racing line is challenging enough to make a difference among players but not too difficult so weaker players don’t get lost, visuals are evergreen – no wonder this has always been the staple of online custom track races and an example for trackmakers.
