Hello!
This is the third track I started making, finally coming to terms with it!
I wanted to challenge myself to only use Re-Volt original texture files to create a track mixing Botanical Garden, Museum and Toys in the Hood elements.
This track is set to a hard difficulty because of some tricky turns, but is fairly easy to master!
This track requires RVGL
Still WIP and hopefully coming soon:
-Reverse mode
-Shadows and lightings
-Improving AI
-Time trial
-Camera nodes
A huge thanks to the whole RV discord, can't thank you guys enough for all your help and inspiration
Hope you will enjoy the race, looking forward for your feedback!
Today I recognised that I didn’t tested this track until now. What a shame – nearly one and a half year after it was released. The overall idea behind this track is very good. I like the theme and the ideas you implemented in this track. It has really a lot of small and nice details. But sadly the track is really lacking in polish. The raceline itself is very diversified and interesting, but there are too many obstacles and sometimes the path is very confusing. The graphics are not bad, but they also lack in polish quite a lot. Some parts feels kind of unfinished, and there are a lot of mapping errors. You mentioned in the description that shadows and lightings are missing – I would have made them before releasing the track, to be honest. It’s a bit sad, because all in all this would be a really cool track! It’s just not finished in my eyes. Maybe you want to work again on it? I think it would be worth it.
