  1. This is a track where both grip and top speed are very important. The McKenzie Pass is a real mountain pass, in Oregon, United States.
This track is very long, and thematically has no variation at all. I don’t mind this, though. It makes it feel like a realistic track, and the atmosphere feels good. Also, there being no variation thematically is made up for by the racing line: that is actually quite varied throughout, featuring different kinds of turns, and at the end steep downhill sections. Because of its length and straight-forwardness though, this track is more suitable for fast cars. And with fast cars it can be pretty challenging to stay on track, as the surface type is quite rough, and the road isn’t super wide!
I have just one issue with this track, and it’s that it’s pretty easy to frontrun. As long as you don’t keep making major slip-ups, you’ll probably stay ahead, as you won’t have to deal with pickups from others, but can drop oils or get zaps and batteries yourself. This problem is compounded by the AI driving to the left at the start instead of going straight ahead, basically giving the player a head start. However, this is still quite a nice track, and I would enjoy racing it online at some point.
