I was going to make this look more complex, but it got corrupted. So I started over and made it with a more simple raceline.
Note any bugz when/if found. Everything's in the readme.
(The update is just the initial track. I uploaded the wrong .ZIP at first.)
Since there are multiple stars in Practice Mode, you will need to find one and not restart/re-enter the track, otherwise the rest of the stars will disappear. They won't disappear once you've found one and stay in the track.
If you do exit, you'll have to go into the 'profiles' folder where your game is installed and erase the level data file for the track. Doing that will reset your progress of the track and put the stars back.
This is a great example of how to do lava, complete with a fitting sound.
And there are some very interesting sections there – the long lava bridge for example, and the rubble ridge as the first makeshift bridge over lava.
