Hey all, it's good to be back. My first brand new original car since 2015.
Class: Pro
Top Speed: 39 MPH/63 KMH
Acceleration: Average
Drivetrain: RWD
Handling: Grippy, positive front end
Based on ground effect era Formula One cars. I balanced it around the stock Pros, so what it lacks in top end and acceleration, it has in its responsive handling and stability at high speed.
Wireframe and detail template included in the zip for repainters.
FX Formula is better than I thought I’d give it credit for. Ages ago I downloaded this, only because it looks cool. Now upon testing, it’s more than just that.
The top end of it is as it says – 39 MPH, very typical of a nimble Pro class car, in fact, this one is RWD so it has added challenge to it and it turns in pretty dang good. It’s a little whimsical at slow speeds but picking up momentum, it’s pretty damn good. And it’s ability to handle slippery surfaces such as ice is…better than I thought. If it spins out, kinda hard to recover but, not too bad, actually.
And as far the aesthetic goes, the model, the paintjob? Pretty dang good, this car aged rather well. I’d recommend it. Just don’t use the battery with most RWD cars, this one kinda hates it.
