  1. I’m confused about this track’s release history. It was published by Paperman in 2022, but it apparently received a major update. However, the earliest date I can find is March 25th, and the latest I can find is March 27th. Did the track really receive a major update within a couple of days? Perhaps. I’d like to see the original, in that case.
Anyway: This track is very simple, and was inspired by the Game Boy Color game ATV Racing, which uses code of the cancelled Re-Volt port. Despite its simplicity, it’s quite a challenge to go around, because of some humps that are formed so that they tend to flip your car upside down. Kind of annoying. :P You can try to avoid them by going into the grass, but you should take care to not lose too much speed in the grass, as the surface type is extreme, and you might have difficulty getting out of it.
Overall, not a very enjoyable experience to me, although it’s completely functional. It is interesting that it was inspired by ATV Racing, but I haven’t actually seen much of this game. It was an unlicensed game.

  2. (Come on I wrote a comment and left the page, now it’s all over again)
The track looks very good. Good work! But I think the bumps need to be made a little smoother. Some cars just flip on them.
To some extent, I agree with Kiwi. Tracks should not be made for upload.
But the track still looks good. I advise you to add some animations to future tracks. It will look even more interesting that way. You’re good at making tracks. Keep going!

  3. @kiwi
Thanks for the advice. I’ll keep working on this track. I think it’s too early to release.
I will have time to repair my creations so far, and I will accept the necessary improvements and feedback.

Thank you for your advice. I’ll try to improve it.

  4. What should I say. You are a super talented person, but you waste all the potential in making tracks (and cars) by doing them in too short time. For me it seems you release stuff for the sake of the upload, and not for the sake of the content.

Yes, the overall quality of the track is good. But it’s also clearly visible you made this track in 1 sit. I just ask myself: Why?

The raceline seems fun at first, but it also get pretty boring very fast. The graphics are “stocklike” – but is this really the best solution for a simple track like this? Fresh new textures would have added a lot here. There are no custom sounds. There is no custom music track. The grass material feels unrealistic. The pickup placement seems random, and I also think there are too much pickups for such a short track. The bumps get really annoying after the second race. The mapping of the grass (raceline vs. side parts) is not very precise.

Sorry for this harsh words, but I really hope you will change your mindset. I already stopped downloading your cars, and I hope I don’t have to do the same for your tracks.
