The Diamond Trophy Mod is a modification for the Default Re-Volt Frontend.

It adds an additional trophy model including zoom for the new custom cup feature introduced in RVGL 20.1230a. The trophy was made by Trixed.

The download also adds a new custom cup made by Xarc: The Diamond Cup. For this cup you need the following content in addition to the original Re-Volt / RVGL:

Backups of the changed files are located in the original folder, so you can go back to the original frontend anytime.

DC version also included. (Use the fin and fob files from the dc folder)

  2. It’s very good that you have the idea to make not just a Custom Cup, but also a model for it. The tracks are chosen perfectly. Thank you for such a mod!

  3. Thanks to Kiwi, the issue has been resolved. I am running RVGL on Linux and installed a metapackage from the AUR. That placed an extra frontend.fob file under levels/frontend/custom/ (.fob files in that folder WILL be loaded). Simply rename or remove that file and the issue will be resolved. The maintainer of the package has been contacted, so this issue might very well be gone in the future, but it’s best to leave this solution here.

Thank You Kiwi for this and Your other work! :)

  4. Thank You for the quick reply. I did do it as described, but repeated the process just in case – the issue persists. I must be doing something else wrong. I’ll contact You on Discord in order not to spam here. If we find a solution eventually, I’ll post it here.

  5. Hello mozzribo,
according to the screenshots you provided, it seems you forgot to copy the file named “frontend.fob” into the frontend directory.

Technical background info: The new trophy is the “cup05.prm”. This prm-file will be placed via the “frontend.fin” file. It seems you have copied this file correctly, otherwise you would not see the Diamond trophy. The positions of the original cups are defined in the “frontend.fob” file. That’s why the original cups are on the wrong (default) positions, at your side.

    I hope this helped.
