As soon as I saw Xarc's Panorama, I knew I had to give this drawing by Kajeuter another go, because the roofline was very similar. Kajeuter drew this in 2011 and I attempted an admittedly bleh recreation of it back then. It's now back and completely overhauled from the ground up. Wheels by Cat. Shoutout to Mladen007 for his help with collisions. Not your average Rookie parameter-wise - it likes to bite because of its all wheel steering.

  1. First impression in car selection menu – it’s a bug. And yup, it’s a bug. Not very rich in visual features, but good enough for it to not be a problem. THe most striking characteristic though, the cockroach-like roof, will come in handy in races.

It accelerates like its arse is on fire – it’ll easily beat most other Rookies at start line. Then others will slowly catch up, because the top speed is fair – 49kph – but not OP. And then a turn comes along.

As the description says, four-wheel steering will bite you, and it’ll bite you a lot. And that’s because rear axle seems to be on a 0-1 setup, which – when coupled with very low kerb weight and 4WD – makes cornering very hard to do properly. Even with tapsteering the car is slippery and twitchy, to the point where you need to get used to carefully correcting your line in the middle of a straight. Grip is at best acceptable on tarmac, and very low on loose or slippery surfaces. It’s a Rookie, yes – but not for rookies.

    Pros:
    – Bug-like roofline helps to get back on wheels after a flip without resetting
    – Insanely good acceleration coupled with a moderate amount of speed
    – It does what it says on the tin
    – Easily turns into even the tightest corners

    Cons:
    – …maybe even too easily
    – Nervous and unpredictable at higher speeds
    – Too light for its own good
    – Very hard to get back in line once it snaps from under you
