Another Twisted Metal 1 car coming in the house! But this one is quite interesting to say the least. Meet Pit Viper.

To get this out of the way because you need to know this, it's an actual fact. Pit Viper is the ONLY CAR NOT TO APPEAR IN ANY OTHER TWISTED METAL GAME.

Funny right? It only made it's debut in the first TM game. In it's debut, it has a strong special called sizzle, which is a green blob of acid that causes devastating damage. It recharges quite fast, so you can combo your opponents with it, but aim well! You need to be precise and have good aim. Also, Pit Viper isn't sturdy, it's armour is quite bad, it's not that strong, but it's main weakness is it's handling. IT'S BAD. It slides way too much, so you'll have some trouble using it.

Pit Viper is replaced by a succesor named Grasshopper which appeared in Twisted Metal 2 and returned in Head-On. But I find it inferior because of it's lack of options in Twisted Metal 2, but it's a little bit better in Head-On.

Although Pit Viper was supposed to come back in Harbour City, but the game got cancelled, so I don't consider that for it to make it's glorious return. It does have a model done which is very nice, but it lacks a driver, unique special and it's wheels don't move. It was an unfinished car. It's been now 30 years since people last saw Pit Viper. Will it return in the future? Who knows. But I want it to return, but knowing the Twisted Metal team, they might not or bring back Grasshopper instead. Only time will tell.

For this version, it's got tricky handling, but be gentle, it's quite of a glass cannon. This car was quite annoying to do for me and LivingWithGames, but the issues have been solved. Enjoy!
