Yeah, it was 2018! Not everything was kept, but there's still a lot that you should recognize. There's actually a slideshow in the readme that shows how the track changed over time, if you're interested. I'm with you on that, I loved working with this theme, it's what kept pushing me to finish it. Thank you for the kind words, Kiwi.

Thank you for the feedback so far. I wouldn't like to replace the original lighting, but those who find it too dark can now install 'Brighter Lights'. It comes packaged with the track starting from now, but you can also download it separately from the site. The theme you went with really comes through with the modelling and overall look of the track, the cardboard zigzag is especially clever, visually the track is definitely well-made. Quite a few texture seams but nothing too jarring except maybe these two: https://imgur.com/a/sSPPZHL (yes, the images are sfw despite what imgur might tell you). I'd change the pick-up light for the reversed version because right now it gives off a greenish light which really doesn't fit. A value with high red and low green and blue values should do the trick. The race line is more on the simple and isn't too exciting on its own but there's still some fun to be had with picks on. It helps that the AI is competent. Good practice star placement. You did a great job with this track.

The balance between new and reused content is excellent here, it manages to feel fresh while also following the Ghost Town theme and reusing parts of it with a twist that is the snow, I think it's among the best examples of stock track remodel done well. The visuals are great too, the snowfall combined with nighttime, the fog and the lanterns make for a very immersive track, I especially like the train station area where the railway seems to just go on. Found some spots where I personally would have added some faces, as it's not hard to get up high enough with the car to notice, but it's something the devs themselves didn't bother to do so I wouldn't necessarily call it an overlook. (example: https://i.imgur.com/CRtbLfq.png) The racing line feels just as good, the terrain and custom materials are spot-on, though I couldn't help but notice you used the carpet/rough terrain skidsound for the wood floor? The reversed line isn't quite as enjoyable as the normal one, but that is to be expected. I still wish it flowed a bit better with less sharp/narrow turns to slow the cars down. I feel like the challenge time was a bit too easy at 47s, I did 45.8s with some mistakes. Great job, overall.
