Race around a surreal aquarium after hours! Precision is key for swerving through the tight corridors neatly and without incident.

Time trial challenge lap times are set with the Pro class of cars in mind and are meant to be relatively tough. Author lap times are made with Toyeca and are included in the readme.txt bundled with the track for those who wish to beat them.

Thanks to Zeino for feedback and being cool with me bombarding his Discord DMs
Thanks to Orion for the awesome free custom music used

Feedback and suggestions to improve the track are greatly appreciated as it's my first track making endeavor. This track was submitted to Re-Volt America's Lego Track Creation Contest 2024.

  1. Good raceline for a lego track! I agree that visual fine-tuning could still be made, for example in some parts the roof is unnecessarily low and it makes you forget that you’re in an aquarium that real humans could visit.

  2. @ZZ Glad you liked it! You’re totally right about the unique posters and areas, I was a bit pressed for time for the contest so I might release an update for the track after making some more materials for it (possibly when releasing Aquarium 2).

  3. Very good track, but it’s a bit claustrophobic due to how relatively tight the alleyways are. That makes it necessary to memorize most of the track, although it flows very nicely when driven properly. I like the obstacles on and near the walls, some of them are usable, some must be avoided. At least one jump+turn and one regular turn happen very suddenly and need a proper memorization to drive them without going off wide. It’s nice there are no shortcuts. Maybe some extra unique posters/things on the walls could help with highlighting where the player is to remind him of preparing for these sudden blind turns, similar how some lines on the floor or obstacles can be used as reference points for turning points on some other tracks.

  4. This track is really impressive. The only fault I can find with it is that it is perhaps too long for a single visual.
But it’s true that this visual is magnificent.
