Frigid Peaks... The Cold Mountains, Track #1 from Kemco's Top Gear Overdrive. This took me weeks to get this done. This is my first track conversion, but it is not exactly a 1:1 conversion. Yeah it has the mesh, the textures, and the music from Grindstone, but there are some minor bits that are tampered, but not too damaging. Someday, a second shortcut-free variant will be a thing.
I really like the looks of this track, as well as the main raceline layout – the steep uphills and downhills make for quite a ride, combined with twisty blind turns and some simple, yet scary and punishing obstacles. The only downside I see are the shortcuts.
I highly recommend this track. Very beautiful landscapes, pleasant colors, calm area, the song in the game dilutes this calm atmosphere a little, but I have nothing against it. In general, this is a very worthy track, one of my favorites.
