Tamashi CR

Part of the SD02 line that succeeded the original Starfire GT.

Tamashi CR is a spec racing variant of the Tamashi roadster. To mirror the real life racecar, Toy-Volt has outfitted this toy model with firmer suspension and grippier racing tires along with a rollcage molded in ABS plastic.

Unlike Tamashi which like to slide around, Tamashi CR is quite planted thanks to the upgraded tires. The car is quite easy to drive, with more than ample traction for its low power. However, loss in traction can come suddenlyif one is too reckless, making precise car control imperative to setting fast laps.

• Tamashi CR, like Tamashi, has good acceleration and handling but low top speed.
• The handling of Tamashi CR is notably grippier than the of Tamashi.
• Driving around tighter corners quickly requires good throttle control and a bit of slip angle.

• Tamashi CR is based on the 2019-2023 Mazda MX-5 Global Cup Car.
• The skins are based on the original 2016 concept livery, the 2019+ pace car livery, and the 2022 Mazda Spirit Racing Roaster entered in the 2022 Super Taikyu series.
• "CR" stands for "Cup Racer".
