EDIT April 26th, 2026 – submission deadline has been extended to May 3rd due to site inaccessibility circumstances during the past week. Keep your submissions coming!
March 13th, 2026 – Hello, Re-Volters!
Here we are once again with a seasonal event – and one that’s significant for a multitude of reasons as well.
What is this?
Content creators can attend the contest by submitting a creation according to the contest themes.
After the deadline, there will be a public voting to determine the winners of each category.
In addition, you can gain Kudos by attending the Spring Break 2026!
- Attending: You get 25
for attending a category. - Podium: Getting on the podium in a category will give you 50
. - Winning: Winning a category is worth 100
!
Theme and Categories
As promised, we are finally back to a slightly more standard format, with three categories (tracks, cars and skins):
- Track: commemorate Re-Volt World’s 5th anniversary with your best Lego or Circuit type track!
- Car: temperatures are finally rising, so it is high time to catch some open air fun – make any car you like, as long as it’s open top!
- Skin: several celebrations and festivities take place in spring (between March and June): choose your favourite and make a skin themed around it.
Rules
General rules:
- Deadline for submission is
April 26th, 20 UTCMay 3rd, 20 UTC. - Every creator can submit a maximum of ONE creation per category (and it is not mandatory to participate in all of them).
- Collaborations are allowed. Please provide the name(s) of the author(s) you collaborated with.
- Used resources (if any) must be stated in an attached readme, unless their author(s) is (are) okay with free distribution.
- Please don’t upload your entries to Re-Volt World or any other websites before the voting is over.
- It is not mandatory to keep your entries secret before the deadline.
Track rules:
- Both Lego and Extreme tracks are allowed. If you enter an Extreme track, it has to resemble either a realistic RC track (e.g. AMCO TT) or a full size racing track/stadium (e.g. Richardson Raceway). The surface doesn’t necessarily have to be tarmac.
- The Re-Volt World logo (or any other type of reference to the website or its graphics) must be present anywhere in the track.
Car rules:
- You may submit a repaint, remodel or original car.
- Only open-cockpit cars are allowed. This includes but isn’t limited to convertibles, formula-style cars and beach buggies.
- It is not mandatory to texture the interior or have a driver model, if you prefer to stick to a more “stocklike” style.
- As a general guideline, cars like Estata, Ellie or Sidepod fit the category criteria.
Skin rules:
- You may make a skin for any car you like. Please state which car the skin is for, and pack it in its proper folder.
- It is allowed (and endorsed, especially for newcomers) to use paintkits for cars that come with one.
- The skin must reference a celebration/holiday occurring at any point in time between March and June.
- There are no limits regarding the origin (religious or secular, centuries old or modern, Western or Eastern…) of the celebration – hanami (Japanese cherry blossom festival), Mexican Cinco de Mayo, Easter and Pi-day are all valid examples.
Submit your entry
Submit your entry by using the upload function down below.
- Only visible for logged in users!
- You can upload zip, rar or 7z files.
- The maximum file size is 50 MB.
- You can use the upload function as often as you wish! Upload updated versions of your creations anytime. We will have a look at the uploads manually, and just consider the latest version if there are more.

@burner94
oh sweet, thank you! can’t wait to see what everyone’s cooked up!
@Saffron
Yes of course, this has always been possible in our contests as stated in the “Submit your entry” subsection. We will look at upload dates and consider the latest revisions of everything.
does this mean I get to upload a more up-to-date version of a submission to replace the one I submitted for yesterday’s deadline?
here i thought i submitted last minute once more
as always, there’s something creative experimented on my end. /
looking forward to see how innovative and unexpected, or expressively amazing, this season’s creations will be!
@Keyran (and others too!)
We’ve decided to extend the event ONE FULL WEEK, as some users also reported site access issues in the past couple of weeks, due to an invalid HTTPS certificate – our fault for not updating it in time, won’t happen again :”)
I’ve just uploaded a track, but I wasn’t sure I could make it because it was too ambitious. I couldn’t include everything I wanted in my track (and didn’t plan to do so), it’s roughly 20-25% of the full track (aimed to 25-40%), but it already has a correct length.
I tried to take part, but I couldn’t manage to come up with anything nice.
As a player and track creator, I’m always very interested in what others do in these contests, but I still struggle with the topics and the time limit.
Maybe next time, as far as I’m concerned, But yes, of course there must be tracks during the contests !
Heads up once again – may I have your attention please? :)
There are roughly ~12 hours left before the submission deadline, and all we got at the moment are 9 archives from 8 different authors.
I do remember receiving complaints throughout last year’s contests for never featuring a track category – and now that the category is there, only one person submitted a track. Is the theme (or the contest altogether) really not that interesting? Would anybody be interested in a deadline extension? Please let us know in the comments below, so that we can continue offering the kind of contests you creators enjoy the most :)
This is a very nice event, I’m sure there will be a lot of cool entries, can’t wait to check them. I’ve just uploaded mine too!
Heads up!
Only ONE WEEK remaining before the deadline – don’t forget to submit your entries, keep ’em coming! :)
As for me, I’ve given up!
Too much idea, just like “Living with the Game” but I wasn’t able to sort through it all and synthetise it.
I’ve gone back to my original plan, but I think something will come of it anyway.
I normally don’t make open cockpit/roofless cars but decided to make one. Whether it was a repaint or not, you lot will find out soon enough. Had too many ideas and ultimately I felt that what I wanted to make was something I actually wanted to make.
I’m really happy about these events; I always check the page from time to time thanks to them. When I get my laptop back, I might be encouraged to participate
i’m so happy to see a game like this more active than most of popular games :D Gl to everyone !!
I plan to participate as well.
@Ced!
Room 12×16 – I’d say this is a very borderline case, because slot-cars aren’t “technically” RC cars. We could accept it though.
RC Stadium – definitely a yes.
OK, I’m pressing the point, but I’m not sure I’ve quite got it.
Is a track like Motorhand’s Room 12×16 OK?
Is a track like Xarc’s RC Stadium alright?
Sorry, I’m not saying you’re not explaining yourself clearly; it’s just that my English is very poor and the translation tools aren’t quite up to scratch yet.
@Keyran
Quite unsure what you mean with that, since the I/O Circuits are almost exclusively full-size realistic tracks (similar to my example #2), only exception being city/street circuits which there are a few of, and Room 12×16 which is basically a slot car track.
(In fact, I referred to the category as “circuits” specifically because of the I/O pack itself lol)
Either way yes, I’d say it’s fair game.
Finally, another contest with a track category!
For Extreme tracks, can the I/O Circuit Pack be used as a reference for what is allowed, or are the rules more restricted? The circuit pack has more diversity than the examples listed above.
