THIS IS NOT THE SAME MOD AS THE ONE BY DANYLOPEZ123, MINE REPLACES MUSIC FOR CUSTOM TRACKS THAT HAVE THE DEFAULT TRACKS USED AS WELL.

Replaces the music with the soundtrack from the N64 version of the game! All tracks arranged by Simon Robertson.

Tracks all recorded myself through emulator and touched up a little!

Music will play randomly in the stock tracks, just like the original game! Win Cup and Lose Cup themes are replaced as well!

Song names were all done with guesswork and comparing to the original PC soundtrack, there's no official titles for them out there...

There's only one issue which is the credits music doesn't work on the credits screen with randomized music, since getting randomized music to play on Ghost Town 2 doesn't work without replacing the credits music, this is an issue with RVGL and I don't think there's a way to counter it unless the devs fix that lol...for now I just changed the REDBOOK line on that track only.

Note: This replaces the redbook folder as well, so N64 tracks will play over the default ones! I highly recommend going to your packs and creating a folder called n64_soundtrack and dumping the pack there for easy toggling incase you want to switch out of it!

This is my first time ever submitting something for the Re-Volt community, so here's my thanks to a community that I've been in and around for nearly 15 years!

    Enjoy!

  1. Unfortunately I hadn’t actually realized someone else had already made a mod like this until after I submitted it lol, I totally would’ve contacted you if I had found it earlier…I hope there’s no troubles…

  2. I was about to say if this is classified as copying my work but after reading the description and downloading the file, it does seems different, ecept the recorded musics in your version sounds somewhat lower than my version.

I’ll let it pass but at least you could have told me to team up with me and so i can make an ALT version for my upload that does replace the redbook tracks as well.

  4. I took the liberty to change “Online multiplayer compatible” to “No” because modifying the .inf files of stock tracks will trigger autokick in lobbies that use it.

Also I publicly apologize for the delay with the approval – but if anybody is looking for a backup of the original soundtrack (for ease of toggling if you’re not using the Launcher), you can find it here: https://www.revoltworld.net/dl/default-music/
