You are on a very long journey and you are bored. Luckily you have some R/C cars and some friends sitting next to you, so why not having some races in the train?

The time trial times have been set for Pro cars (tested with Toyeca).

There are two versions of the track. The archive "krntrain_full" is the full version of the track, recommended for singleplayer races. The archive "krntrain_lite" is a version with only one landscape part, better for multiplayer races and those who have a low frame rate with the full version.

Both versions of the track share the same folder name, so you can have only one in an installation.

Thank you CapitaineSZM, MightyCucumber and rodik for testing this track and giving me feedback and suggestions of improvement.

  1. @Keyran,
I think (to read you) that the solution was a single train for the track.
You say you wanted to include diversity: Museum, Garden (which I forgot to mention), but also Casino, Game Room…
The diversity is in my opinion brought by all these little shortcuts included in your racing line, as well as the passage on the roof of the train and the details brought to the decorations.

1°) It’s always good to point out issues. I know these ramps are not realistic, but what would you have done? I don’t see a lot of alternatives here.
These ramps are long because they make it easier to avoid obstacles between the trains. The horizontal window is also there to make the jump easier, otherwise it would be too hard for slow cars or it would require a stronger force field (I don’t like using them, but it was necessary in this track).

2°) The museum brings diversity to this track. I had a lot of ideas of places where passengers could go during the journey, like the garden and the museum that are in the track. I have also considered including a casino or a game room, but the track was already long enough (and I was satisfied after getting that exact 1000m length the first time I saved the pos nodes of this track).

  3. Several things bother me about this track. I am well aware (and still, not so sure) of the work put into its construction and I find it incredible on many levels, but:
    – I don’t understand the kind of ramps between the trains that allow you to jump from one to the other. (What is it exactly?)
    – I don’t understand what the wagon museum is doing either.
For me, these are inconsistencies that mean that I cannot judge this track as successful.
And yet I find the idea of this race in a moving train really good and indisputably well done!

  4. I think this is hands down your best track. The diversity, the environment, the flow…the unexpected badass music track.

Could be even the best one of 2023. Keyran, my man – you have heavily outdone yourself. Pat yourself on the back, you earned that one. I dare deem this track…perfection.

  5. Oh yea, I’m glad to officially download this track. It’s a great idea, with many interesting landscapes and stops! Also, I want to note that there are also several environments in the train itself. This is the Botanical Garden and Museum. The AI of this track is also very good. I liked the music and SFX. You have made a very interesting racing line in such a small space! Also, it’s very good that you have optimized the track after all (at least everything has started working much better for me). Keep it up! Don’t stop making such ideas a reality!
