Standard Track

In terms of raceline an improvement over GP1. More tight turns present an actual challenge. With the addition of long straights, this track is certainly made for the fastest Super Pro cars. Curbs could be improved I think, to have them feel the same at every place of the track.

Track fits pretty exactly my taste. Even more fun from the nose-camera, as there are no obstacles behind blind corners. Exterior car camera is difficult in the hairpins.

An aesthetically pleasing experience. Your monitors are too good I suppose.

Brickwall
Rookie Car

Suggested tracks to use Brickwall: The Bunker (that wall needed a fix anyways) and Moon Dawn (can bricks levitate?). Zeino, I really like about your cars, that they push the limits of the game's physics. True engineering spirit!

Excellent circuit track with a great variety of everything. Though I'd rate kerb consistency higher than the additional challenge that they present here. The pit area is well solved here, giving the car a little slowdown only once before letting it go again. That way it's well balanced.

Good circuit track. Elegantly solves the problem of cutting. Make the curbs so deadly so that no one wants to give them a second try. Also, this track is wide enough as opposed to many other circuit tracks.

Hockenheimring
Standard Track

Well, it's a nice recreation of that classic track, but to be really driveable in Re-Volt, either the scaling of those long straights would need to be adjusted or the developers build slipstream physics in the game somehow. The acceleration of the RC Cars is too high for the old Hockenheim layout and they reach their top speed too quick. Other race tracks... why not? If the straights would be less than half as long as here, it should work out. Nevertheless, it is possible to race here, as no problems with track limits happen. Especially well done is the pit area, being the only place to get an item for a small time loss.

Good looking track, completly ruined by track limits (indeed Tilke-like, as advertised on this tracks adbanners). Certain things were done right here, like having the offline areas being slippery or grassy and slowing the car down. But this could have gone completly without reset triggers and would have been an interesting track. Cuts are almost impossible anyways through having the wall follow the track closely. The pit area isn't well executed either. Put a chicane in there, which makes it clearly the slower path and stack thousands of items up there to give this path a continous purpouse besides the obvious star. Lots of potential in this track, especially thanks to the overall theme (big company track).

Good for some no-nonsense street circuit racing. Turns vary enough, with slight height changes here and there. The start-finish-line could be better visible, maybe a pit area would add some variety to the rather monotone looking track. The Cougar-Humma crash site is a well made detail.

Tesla
Rookie Car

Saturday, 2nd March 2024

Most chilled car ever. With the Tesla, RVGL will become a much less hectic experience. Super solid handling. Very nimble. When driven with careful turns, the Tesla rarely betrays. If it slides, well, that's 3kg going to slide where they want. But that should rarely happen. Races are diffcult with the Tesla. The acceleration is on Phat Slug niveau. It's specialised for high-speed tracks of course, although even there, the top speed advantage kicks in really late to be viable against the competition in Rookie class. The shape of the car looks like the creation of an AI. Out of place things... what's this drill at the back? Why is the spaceship built so high off the ground? Having the front axle being much narrower than the rear has some undesireable effects on touching walls. It makes the car lean in, so it sticks its nose towards the wall. All in all, fair stats with obvious advantages and disadvantages.
