Hello again! I hope everyone is doing well this year, and to make your days happier, here's a new creation of mine, Retro Burnot.

The origin of this car is still weird for me, because i created it at first just messing around with a plane mesh in Blender and suddendly i tought "hey! what if i make a funnycar?" and the idea in just MINUTES managed to be fully completed (really easy to make), later while making the stats, i thinked about something to be as a big rival for Patriot, BUT having his differences like:

    - Higher speed (46.4 mph).

    - Low steering range.

    - More powerfull acceleration .

    - Not capable of drifting.

    - Long jumps can sometimes be a death sentence in the middle of a race.

    - Using batteries are NOT an option for recovery in the race (yeah, i know it sounds dumb, but i left it because the car needed more nerfs, in simple words: using a battery gives you more speed, but it takes a lot of extra seconds to reach that speed because you LOOSE grip on the wheels).

    - One of those flare things (idk the name xd) turns it into a tornado.

    - In certain bumpy surfaces you can easily loose grip and launch yourself to the last direction you wanted to go while steering trying to take control.

Like always, any tips, opinions and issues that get noticed are always helpful for me to become a better creator. I might start having a slower upload rate due to school. (Also, thanks JeSUS for making the heat in the exhaust pipes, you're a true legend my friend)

UPDATE 1: Re-balance and small fixes:

    - Less steering ratio.

    - Less grip in the front wheels.

    - Fixed a small "POP" in the engine sound.

    - New carbox with a better glance at the car itself and to match better with the Re-Volt style.

Thx JeSUS and Mighty for helping in the small re-balance of the parameters.

UPDATE: updated carbox, parameters and engine sound. Removed paintkit. Added the "cars" folder for easier instalation through the game launcher.

Final update for this car since it's going to get the same treatment as Toyrod and Raging Bull. This last update was made for a private special event that will be using only this car.

  1. Updated review: After testing with Dragtoy again (which is a bit of a car that is between Pro and Super Pro, if I may be honest) and the more absurdly grippy Hilerion, the last update to this car not only made it balanced to Super Pro (which I don’t remember if this car was Super Pro before), the absurd acceleration and top speed, mixed with it’s horrid steering status, shows this is a true to earth, drag/funnycar R/C car. If you use it on technical tracks, may God have mercy for you. But if you master it on tracks like urbanX? OOH MAN,it is amazingly fun! I don’t know what did you do but you gave it a magic touch to it!

Yes, using this car is for the skillful, not because it handles terribly, it is very stable, but it can flip easily. Only sad bit about it, no more paintkit, but thankfully, I still have it. To further honor this gem again, I shall do it – a skin from me for it. Time to get my hands dirty.

  2. Having driven this in comparison with two other drag cars I know, this one is more in line with what a drag car should handle – Hilerion handles too well for a Super, Dragtoy handles just fine while as a Pro, much superior – this one doesn’t handle it too well, but it has a very superb acceleration and stop speed just like those cars. One pro about this car though, it handles on ice too well – so well despite as a RWD car, you have no chance of spinning out, but technical tracks are a serious weakness. Master the speed to your advantage and it can be still tricky to win.

I’ll be honest, I prefer handling those other cars, but you made sure how a funny car/dragster is meant to handle. The looks are alright-ish, but the fact this has an option for double rim textures like the Dragtoy, earns bonus points.

Not your best car by far – but it’s not that bad either. I enjoyed it.
