Hey, thanks for the feedback and kind words :) The cutoff on the Bold New Flavor text was originally an error, but I actually kept that as an attempted stylistic choice. I thought it might help give it the feeling of something a low-budget toy company had thrown together for the holidays. The spilling cup decal on the roof and the generic lightning bolt on the hood were also part of that design choice. Maybe I should have honed into that theme a bit stronger in retrospect lol. I might revisit this skin in the future and give it some more design touch-ups, as I am quite happy with it but agree that it could be improved on.

This thing gives me serious Carmageddon vibes with how bizarre the theming is, I love it! Really feels like it would be right at home in Carma 2 or TDR2000 as a lategame novelty car, especially with those bloody skin variations. Very creative and fun!

Some really great work from the fellow entries as well, not gonna say what's my favorites (voting and all) but there's definitely a few of those skins and Panga edits I will be gladly using year-round. Was trying to offer genuine feedback but it appears it has been taken as an insult, perhaps I misjudged the character of this creator. as for the sfx line, why would it not be enabled in the parameters out of the box? Why should I need to manually enable the sound? The parameters have the exact opposite of what you're saying. They don't take time to learn, they take no effort to master. The car is very fast and with handling that poses little challenge. Backstretcher is a much better example of a Ridge Racer car with parameters that stay accurate to the source while still maintaining balance with other RV cars. and as for the texture, if you insist then so be it, but I have seen conversions use custom textures so the model fits in with other RV cars. It is not a requirement to use original textures the model came with. But at the end of the day that is your personal preference so this point is subjective. I apologize for my feedback being taken this way, but I still think I had some valid points

Not bad, but it needs some more time in the oven. Here's my honest feedback. For starters, the PSX texture really should be replaced with a scratch one. This one just makes the car visually clash with others. Plus, the UV maps the model had by default leave zero possibility for any skins. I'm unsure if this was a bug on my part, but the custom engine sound did not work. The car was entirely silent besides steering noises. The description says this car has "okay speed, perfect for Pro, but mix it with astonishing handling" but this isn't really the case. Despite what the description says, it does drive on rails unless you go over a bump/jump, and the speed is way too fast. I know both of these things are accurate to the source vehicle, but they should be toned down a little bit just for the sake of balance. As it currently stands, even a total novice like me can wipe the floor with this car. The lack of weight to the vehicle leads to an interesting issue where almost any flips will self-correct itself without use of the flip key, but hitting any walls will cause you to go for several spins. It's not necessarily something that needs fixing, just something I thought was interesting to see on a car with this size and shape. Not a bad mod overall, it definitely has it's merits and you can tell it was made by a modder with a good grasp on the game, but it needs some more time and polish.

Fairground 2 Standard Track Saturday, 4th November 2023

Both of the Fairgrounds tracks are some of the best mod tracks ever created, but Fairgrounds 2 is by far the better of the two. Everything about this course is perfection. The layout is short but exciting, the hazards keep you on your toes but are fair and balanced, the pickups are placed just right, and the environmental design and model/texture work truly makes this track feel like it was in the original 1999 game. If you placed this track in a copy of the game and gave it to a new player, they would never think twice about it being from the base game. And on top of all that, it's an absolute blast to race on. Just the right mix of challenging and fun. Not too easy to be a cakewalk, but not too hard to be unfair. I replay this course constantly, and it never gets old. Nothing but respect, this is truly one of the greats.

Proto 01 – Ultra Hover Misc. Car Thursday, 22nd December 2022

This thing is insane. It's obviously a novelty car, so don't expect it to be usable for your average track. This is def meant for high-speed courses like SS Highway Volt. But as a novelty car? It's damn fun. I have no idea how the params for this were set up, but it's a crazy car that is extremely fast with handling that while tricky is really fun when you master it. It's speed is countered by it's handling, so it technically is still able to compete with other cars in the class without leaving them in the dust. Definitely worth messing around with, just make sure to use it on a track where it can show it's full potential.

Love this little thing. I am a huge Kei car fan so this is a perfect mod to have in my game. My only complaint is that the parameters have a small issue where the handling is sometimes unpredictable, which can be troublesome on tracks with many technical turns. The model and texture are great though, and it is really fun to drive even with that small issue.
