    "Improved AI Nodes" is designed to increase the difficulty of CPUs by refining the racing line and fixing key areas that cause cars to crash/spin out. Only AI nodes are touched. CPU performance is also dependent on the level of AI parameter optimization, so the overall challenge depends on what cars are the opponents. These new nodes should provide a moderate challenge for even experienced players. Improved nodes are not fully compatible with multiplayer and will tag the track as "CHT"; therefore, please disable this installation before racing online.

    Toy World 2 has several braking zones that are very detrimental to CPU pace. These sections were revised so that most cars will no longer brake and turn into spinouts or walls. General improvements were made to the racing line as well, balancing compatibility, pace, consistency, and pickup locations.

  1. Correction: I accidentally looked at stock AI nodes :))) These nodes are much better and faster but the flaws I stated earlier are the same as in stock tracks. I’m hoping to see an update on these issues since they are quick and easy to fix.

  2. I appreciate the effort you put in but I have to tell you these nodes are only average at best. Some core principals of good AI nodes are neglected for example placing a node for every three car lengths and that might cause sub-optimal repos in races. It also effects how cars approach the corner and in most cases they fail to do the corner well because of this. I also don’t approve the long cut node choice for the alternate route, I would rather have it as long pickup route or something. These are just a few things, if you want more info please contact me.

    Yes, I am currently working on other stock tracks to bring the AI pathing up to date. I was originally inspired by Kipy’s work, and have begun talking with them in coordinating AI updates for all stock tracks, hopefully.

  4. Awesome track modification! This brings a whole new feeling to this track. I just tried a 3-lap pickup race with R6 Turbo, and Recon MK1 kicked my ass damn hard. Can’t wait to try the stock cups as soon there are more from these AI-improvement track mods available. I hope similar mods for other tracks will follow!? :) Great job with this one, for now.

  5. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: For everyone who downloaded this track mod already: The “Online multiplayer compatible” tag was set to “Yes” by mistake. We’ve now correct this to “No”. Using this mod in online multiplayer will cause a “CHT” tag and if the autokick parameter will be used by the host, you can’t attend online races with this mod installed.
