Part of the SD02 line that succeeded the original Starfire GT.

Zenki Kai is a special racing-modified version of the humble Zenki sports coupe. It has long been used for a one-make race series in Japan that brings in a wide variety of competitors.

This RC model features many changes to the original Zenki kit - the wide fenders, front lip, and spoiler are all ABS molded pices that are afixed to the original Zenki body shell. In addition, the suspension is more aggressive, the tires are wider, and acceleration is improved.

    ...

    Tips:

    • Zenki Kai has similar handling characteristics to Zenki but also features an overall improvement in performance.
    • The car likes to slide out. Maintaining rear grip in corners will yield faster lap times.
    • The firmer suspension is less forgiving when it comes to offroad and jumps. You can brake tap right before jumps to keep the car level, similar to real RC buggies. or in Trackmania.

    ...

    Misc:

    • This car is based off of the TRD N2 modification for the AE86 Corolla.
    • "Kai" (改) means "improved", "revision", or "modified", as used in the Gundam Series (GM Kai, Astray Red Frame Kai, etc.) and Dragon Ball Z Kai (literally a revision of the original DBZ anime).
    • The wheels and fenders are 0.1 blender units wider than those of a typical chibi. The wheels also have some negative camber.
    • The default skin is based on an earlier version of Keiichi Tsuchiya's Levin N2. The second and third skins are based off of "Racing Modification" liveries for the '83 Levin and Trueno in Gran Turismo 2. The fourth skin is based off of the default protagonist vehicle in Racing Lagoon.
    • There is no paint kit, but I have included the UV map and Shadow (multiply) layer you can use with the Zenki paint kit.
